Biography
Origin
The Collector is an Elder of the Universe. He is obsessed with the collection and preservation of living beings and artifacts from across the universe.
The Collector
The Collector attempted to collect every major hero of Earth except for Hulk and Spider-Man, who he saw unfit for his collection after receiving altered information from J. Jonah Jameson. In the end, he was stopped by Spider-Man and Hulk, who rescued the captive heroes.
It's a Wonderful Smash
The Collector uses a holographic neural inducer to place the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. in a virtual reality simulation in which each of the agents lives an idealized life, but they are freed from the simulation by Rocket Raccoon. It was also revealed that he has the Orb of Truth in possession that the Guardians of the Galaxy were planning to give to the Shi'ar during their peace meeting with the Kree. Combining the holographic neural inducer and the Orb of Truth, the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and the Guardians of the Galaxy were able to defeat the Collector.

Powers and Abilities
The Collector often disguises his supposed true form, masking it in a gentler humanoid form; thus, he has limited physical morphing abilities. He is immortal and long-lived, and he can also manipulate vast amounts of cosmic energy. The Collector possesses superhuman levels of strength, speed, stamina, and durability, although comparatively to his fellow Elders, his lack of effort toward physical enhancement means that the Collector's stamina is relatively lacking. In his alien form, he is larger and more physically robust. The Collector also possesses size manipulation powers and is telepathically linked to fellow Elders of the Universe, but this is limited. Due to his nature of collecting objects, Collector has an abundance of resources, including technology of an offensive nature. Including various teleporting devices, weapons, potions, battle suits, lasers, bombs, cannons, and various other types of items, equipment, and artifacts. Collector possesses a wealth of knowledge on an excess amount of topics due to his millennia of experience and education.
