Biography
Origin
Blade is a human-vampire hybrid with all the strengths but none of the weaknesses of a traditional vampire, Blade has dedicated his life to destroying the occult world of vampires and all who associate with them. He is a member of the Howling Commandos along with Werewolf by Night, N'Kantu, the Living Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster and Man-Thing
The Hulking Commandos
On Halloween, the Howling Commandos have been enlisted by Nick Fury to hunt down the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. while they were trick-or-treating in Salem, Massachusetts. The Howling Commandos end up helping the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. fight Dormammu and the Mindless Ones at the time when Dormammu was targeting a magical hourglass with the powers of order and chaos that is held at the Salem Museum.
Powers and Abilities
- Blade has all of a vampire's strengths and none of the weaknesses except for blood-thirst. Blade's half-vampire physiology results in him being completely immune to silver, garlic, and sunlight. Blade has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and senses. He also has a regenerative healing factor that allows him to heal completely from wounds rapidly, if he drinks blood he can accelerate his usual healing abilities & enhance his superhuman strength & speed, when faced with an immediate threat and too badly injured to confront it on his own. His healing factor is responsible for his immunity to age & illness. He is also in complete control over his blood thirst, even near a bleeding human.
- He is a master of martial arts, practices meditation, and can speak various languages and to a degree the vampire language, and he has a great deal of knowledge about hunting vampires. He also has a highly strategic / tactical mind.
